Greenviolet tries to be active in many open-source projects. Chances are, if you're on our site, you've seen an email or patch from an @greenviolet.net email address. It happens, it's normal, embrace it.
Right now, the majority of our time is spent with projects related to OpenSolaris, Wine, and Linux. Over time, this page should grow with plenty of information regarding these topics and more.
Sorry if this page seems like a bit of a tease right now, but given time to migrate content, this page ought to provide hours of reading material.
Projects List
We will attempt to list any open source projects we contribute to here, if they don't fall into any other listed categories.
Projects List
The MirBSD™ Korn Shell is an actively developed free implementation of the Korn Shell programming language and a successor to the Public Domain Korn Shell (pdksh). Please refer to the mksh home page for a list of its features. We currently maintain the spec-files-extra spec file for SFEmksh and currently have package downloads available for OpenSolaris on x86. We plan on adding SPARC packages soon, and perhaps Solaris 10 (SPARC and x86) as well if there is interest. Please contact us via our About Us page to inquire on the status of the additional packages.
We are advocates for Solaris and OpenSolaris. We currently have prebuilt packages available for various things, and Matt Lewandowsky (lewellyn) tries to contribute regularly via projects such as spec-files-extra, bug reports to the OpenSolaris project, and countless hours on IRC.
smrtbot is an IRC bot with one task in mind: keeping track of "factlets". This ability allows your channel to keep track of "community knowledge", even if the entire community isn't always online.
